About Me
Hi!
I officially started my career just over 25 years ago. As a young woman entering the workforce there were a lot of unknowns and people telling me I could not do something because I was female, too young, not strong enough, or too strong.
I thought as I started climbing the corporate ladder and proving what I was capable of, the naysayers would automatically stop. They didn’t. I found I was being held back or not promoted due to the fact that I did not have the knowledge or courage to stand up and speak up. I was not making the money I desired, nor did I have the title, position, or recognition I was very qualified for and wanted. I felt lost and overlooked.
I was frustated when I had a pier take my ideas, which I did not speak up about, and present them as his own. He got recognition, promotion, and pay increase for my work and ideas. This was the tipping point for me. I knew I needed to find my voice and empower myself. It needed to come from within me.
I stumbled through many successes and failures in my journey of finding my balanced strength, my voice, and my own empowered mind. I now desire to help others overcome their own blocks, whether self-imposed or imposed by others, to achieve their heart's desire personally, professionally, and financially. By using my proven techniques and strategies, I will help others find their voice and empower their minds to achieve their dreams and goals.
Alison has 25+ years of experience in management and Human Resources and a bachelor's degree in Business Management. She obtained Human Resource certifications in the practical application of employment law and senior management strategic application (SPHR, PHR-CA, SHRM-SCP). Alison is also Co-Active Trained and has obtained her CPCC and ACC (Coaching Certifications).
